5 DAYS SAFARI TO WESTERN TANZANIA

DAY 1: PICK UP FROM SONGWE AIRPORT THEN TRANSFER TO KATAVI NATIONAL PARK

Our guide will pick you up at Songwe International Airport and give you a quick briefing then transfer to Katavi National park our journey can takes 9 hours and 30 minutes. You will stop for lunch on the way to Katavi we will arrive there for dinner and overnight stay at Government Bandas

DAY 2: FULL DAY SAFARI IN KATAVI NATIONAL PARK

This day you will spend for full day safari in Katavi National park, after Breakfast in the Bandas, depart for the morning game drive. During this time most predators are active so there is great chance to spot different animals like a big pride of lion, elephant, hippo, impala, zebra and other animals. You will back at the Bandas for lunch and proceed with the game drive till evening. Dinner and overnight at Tanapa Bandas

DAY 3: KATAVI TO KIGOMA TOWN

Enjoy morning Breakfast at the Bandas then take our safari vehicle drive to Kigoma where we will have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 4: KIGOMA TO GOMBE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast departs to Gombe stream national park by boat. You will have lunch upon arrival where you will see the chimpanzee and Lake Tanganyika enjoy spot fishing in Lake Tanganyika dinner and overnight stay at Gombe rest house.

DAY 5: MORNING CHIMPANZEE TREKKING – TRANSFER TO KIGOMA TOWN

Early morning breakfasts at Gombe rest house, after chimpanzee tracking in the forest, climb to the Kakombe waterfalls, and also climb to Jame's peak. Then later catch a boat back to Kigoma town for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
