Bateleur Tours was established in 2014, as a tour guides family business and like most small businesses had a fine reputation for personalized service. Today, Bateleur Tours is rated as one of the leading tour operators in Tanzania, receiving visitors from all over the world every year but our motivation is exactly the same to treat all visitors as our personal guests.
We have invested substantially to maintain the efficiency and the personalized service that has been our foundation and is now the Bateleur Tours tradition habit. We focused our attention on training and upgrading the personnel, spreading our guides in key tourist centers, expanding and modernizing our workshop facilities, increasing the quantity and quality of our vehicles, training experiences and installing the necessary equipment for smooth communication with the outside world and linking our operations over Tanzania and southern Africa countries including Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa.

From our modern purpose built administration offices and vehicle maintenance centers in Iringa headquarters, Arusha and Dar es Salaam branch office to our on safari base at Ruaha, Mikumi, Udzungwa Mountains, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Manyara, everything has been planned to improve and enhance our services to the customer. It is an elaborate plan to ensure that our clients are personally taken care of by our own staff using Bateleur Tours preferred equipment.
GROUND TRANSFERS
We believe in value for money. Every guest would like to have the most reliable and comfortable vehicles on safari. In response to the clients’ needs, we have a very strict vehicle replacement policy that ensures a young fleet at all times. We have a total fleet of 300 well-maintained motor vehicles, predominantly 4-wheel drives.
This does away with the problem of sub-contracting vehicles and driver-guides, which may compromise the quality of services. Our safari vehicles are specifically converted for maximum space and comfort.
All of them have POP roof and sliding windows to facilitate good viewing and convenient photography during game drives and sightseeing.
